Additional equipment for hospitals with the support from Japan

Four more hospitals received medical equipment with support from Japan. This was made possible by CO 100% Life’s effective procurement system and additional funding from Japanese partners who were flexible in responding to the current needs of medical institutions. Three more ultrasound machines and four syringe pumps were purchased for the hospitals.

A total of 27 hospitals in the Mykolaiv, Kyiv, Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovohrad and Cherkasy regions received 51 pieces of medical equipment with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan. The equipment includes portable ultrasound machines, defibrillators, syringe pumps, patient monitors and electric generators.

We are grateful to Peace Winds Japan, Japan Platform and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan. We are proud of our long-term and effective partnership that strengthens the medical system’s ability to respond to wartime challenges.

It should be recalled that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by Russia, the financing of the Japanese organization Peace Winds Japan has allowed to deliver medicines of a wide range of different groups and forms, including drugs for the treatment of cardiovascular, neurological, surgical, gastrointestinal, infectious and other diseases. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, 57 medical facilities in the most affected regions have received medicines valued at approximately $1.5 million.
