Valeria Rachinska from CO “100% Life” has won the Global Citizen Prize 2025!
We are proud to announce that Valeria Rachinska, Director of Human Rights, Gender and Communities at 100% Life, has been named one of the winners of the prestigious Global Citizen Prize 2025! This award recognizes her exceptional contribution to human rights and the fight for justice.
The Global Citizen Prize recognizes young leaders from around the world who are making extraordinary efforts to make a positive difference in their communities. The awards are given in various categories, including climate change, removing systemic barriers, empowering girls, and other important areas. The winners receive not only recognition but also a year-long support program from Global Citizen and a cash grant for their organization.
This year’s Global Citizen Prize winners, in addition to Valeria Rachynska, are:
✅Tayla Terena (Brazil) – an anthropologist, Earth and climate advocate;
✅ Omowumi Ogunrotimi (Nigeria) – Founder and Executive Director of the Gender Mobile Initiative;
✅ Lydia Kekeli Amenyaglo (Ghana), Creative Director of the Ghana Food Movement.
The award ceremony will take place on April 30, during the Global Citizen NOW Summit, which will bring together government leaders, civil society activists, business representatives and other sectors to join forces in the fight against extreme poverty.
