“Life Without Pain” is a new conceptual project by the charitable organization “100% Life” aimed at providing access to effective pain relief for people living with chronic pain, serious illnesses, cancer, PTSD, epilepsy, and other conditions requiring modern treatment.

The project will create the first patient-owned pharmacy with medical cannabis, which will operate exclusively within the framework of current Ukrainian legislation. The pharmacy will provide legal, controlled, and stigma-free access to medical cannabis-based medications with a doctor’s prescription and in accordance with established quality standards.

Why is this important?

Chronic pain is a daily reality for millions of Ukrainians, including:

• patients in palliative care,
• people in the late stages of cancer,
• war veterans with physical and psychological trauma,
• people with disabilities and neurodegenerative conditions.

In such conditions, access to modern treatment is not only a matter of quality of life, but also a matter of human dignity.

What is medical cannabis?

Medical cannabis is a medicine that contains active ingredients from the cannabis plant. It is prescribed by doctors to treat:

• chronic pain,
• epilepsy,
• PTSD,
• anxiety disorders,
• inflammatory processes,
• neurodegenerative conditions,
• and symptoms in palliative care.

In many countries around the world, medical cannabis is already part of standard therapy — and it is time for Ukrainian patients to have access to it as well.
