The Ministry of Social Policy, Family and Unity of Ukraine and the Charitable Organization “100% LIFE” have signed a memorandum of cooperation, marking a new stage of partnership between the two sides.
The document was signed by Anatolii Komirnyi, CDTO of the Ministry of Social Policy, and Dmytro Sherembei, Head of the Coordination Council of 100% LIFE.
The main focus of the partnership is the digitalization of the social sphere. The joint effort aims to simplify access to social support and make all related processes as human-centered as possible.
“This partnership is of strategic importance for us, as the expertise of our partners is crucial for implementing a number of digital solutions. Our joint developments will open new opportunities for scaling up so that everyone in need can receive timely support,”
said Anatolii Komirnyi, Deputy Minister of Social Policy, Family and Unity of Ukraine for Digital Development, Digital Transformations, and Digitalization.
100% LIFE is the largest patient-led organization in Ukraine, implementing social and charitable projects across the country. The organization also has extensive experience in developing and implementing digital tools to support vulnerable groups.
After the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion, the organization launched a network of shelters providing safe housing for Ukrainians forced to flee their homes.
Within this cooperation, the parties will also focus on:
improving the mechanisms for procuring and providing social services;
creating conditions to meet the needs of people with disabilities and other categories entitled to assistive devices, rehabilitation services, and sanatorium-based treatment;
enhancing data analysis and research capacity in the field of social policy.
“Our digital products already serve millions of Ukrainians every day. We fully support the strategy of the Ministry of Social Policy. Every step toward digitalization of services and improving procurement mechanisms increases both the quality and accessibility of social support,” said Dmytro Sherembei, Head of the Coordination Council of 100% LIFE.
Recently, the Government introduced an updated social service — “Family Home”, an alternative to institutional care.
