FreeC has a new partner—the Else Kröner-Fresenius Foundation

We are pleased to announce that a new powerful partner—the Else Kröner-Fresenius-Stiftung (EKFS)—has joined our FreeC initiative.

EKFS is a German non-profit foundation established in 1983 by entrepreneur Else Kröner, who dedicated all her assets to the advancement of medical science and the support of humanitarian projects. The foundation actively funds medical research and supports humanitarian initiatives worldwide, including projects aimed at improving women’s health and supporting vulnerable communities.

For us, this partnership is a major step forward. EKFS already supports a number of important humanitarian programs in Ukraine, including Free C – Freedom from violence and hepatitis C for women survivors of gender-based violence in Ukraine, which confirms our shared values and vision of a future where every woman has access to protection, medical care, and the restoration of her dignity.

We continue our work—important, urgent, and vital.

Together with EKFS, we will be able to scale up support for Ukrainian women who have survived violence, ensure access to hepatitis C diagnosis and treatment, and strengthen a support system that saves lives and paves the way to recovery.

On behalf of the entire FreeC team and the Ukrainian women receiving assistance—

we sincerely thank EKFS for their trust, partnership, and support.

Together, we are doing more than just a project. We are creating a safe space where treatment, care, and justice become a reality.

As a reminder, the #FreeC project is implemented by the charitable organization “100% Life” in partnership with Johanniter International Assistance, with funding from the Else Kröner-Fresenius-Stiftung, at 100% Life medical centers in Kyiv, Chernihiv, Rivne, and Poltava.
