Free psychological support for Ukrainians living with HIV and community members currently in Germany

The National HIV/AIDS Hotline is launching free Ukrainian-language video consultations for Ukrainians in Germany. This includes 3–5 video sessions via a secure platform with a compassionate and qualified psychologist or psychotherapist.

How to access support:

  1. Sign up for psychotherapeutic support on your own
Fill in the short form “Register for psychotherapeutic support” on the platform: https://hiv.helpme.com.ua
  • Our psychologist will contact you to arrange your first video session.

2.Via the Hotline:

  • Request a free call through saapf.kiev.ua — click “Замовити дзвінок” (Request a call), enter your number in international format without the plus sign, and click “Зателефонуйте” (Call me).
  • Call directly via the HIV/AIDS Hotline numbers (charges according to your operator). Available 24/7:
    +380 44 290 40 89 — direct number for calls from abroad
    +380 93 023 82 43 — additional number for convenience (messengers not available)

The Hotline also provides 24/7 consultations in Ukrainian regarding referrals to medical and social services in Germany.

All services are free of charge. Our goal is to support the mental health and well-being of Ukrainians living with HIV who were forced to leave Ukraine and are in need of psychological help. We are creating a culturally sensitive and trustworthy entry point for key populations and, in particular, for people living with HIV.

Implemented within the framework of a joint project by Deutsche Aidshilfe, 100% LIFE Germany, and the National HIV/AIDS Hotline, with the support of the Elton John AIDS Foundation.
