Starting in July 2025, the CO“100% Life” is launching a new humanitarian initiative — Free C: Freedom from Violence and Hepatitis C — in partnership with Johanniter International Assistance and with financial support from Aktion Deutschland Hilft.
The project aims to provide comprehensive medical, psychological, and legal support to women who have experienced gender-based violence (GBV), with a particular focus on access to hepatitis C treatment. The activities cover four cities in Ukraine—Kyiv, Chernihiv, Rivne, and Poltava—and will be implemented through the medical centers “100% Life.”
What does the project include?
Although hepatitis C treatment is officially free in Ukraine, in practice, women who have experienced violence often face barriers to diagnosis and care due to stigma, lack of information, and financial constraints. The Free C project seeks to change this by making care accessible, safe, and responsive to the needs of survivors.
