“100% Life” delivers HIV therapy to prevent treatment Interruptions
1,500 packs of antiretroviral (ARV) drugs and 140 packs of medication for chronic hepatitis B virus infection have been delivered to 28 hospitals and AIDS centers across various regions of Ukraine.
Due to the temporary suspension of new procurements under the PEPFAR program, in accordance with the U.S. President’s directive, the supply of life-saving medications was halted in many countries, including Ukraine. To prevent interruptions in antiretroviral therapy, 100% Life reached out to international partners in several countries for support.
As a result, a pharmaceutical manufacturer based in Munich and Action medeor labworks GmbH — both of whom have supported Ukraine since the early days of the full-scale invasion — provided a generous humanitarian donation of over 1,500 packs of ARV medications and arranged their delivery to Ukraine.
All medications have now been distributed by 100% Life to the regions in line with the Public Health Center’s allocation plan, covering 28 healthcare facilities.
