A network of PLWH was visited by a delegation from Kyrgyzstan
The delegation from Kyrgyzstan visited the All-Ukrainian Network of PLWH on December 4 and 5. During two days, representatives of the diplomatic corps, the Ministry of Health and the non-governmental sector studied Ukraine’s unique advocacy experience of how to improve access to treatment for HIV + patients and reform the health care system.
“The principles and approaches that the Network and partners developed in Ukraine have proved their effectiveness. Today we are happy to share our experience and expertise with our colleagues and we are ready to export our expertise to the EECA region,” said Serhiy Dmitriev, the Policy and Advocacy Director of the All-Ukrainian Network of PLWH.
First of all, colleagues from Kyrgyzstan were interested in the principle of services transition to public funding, which was developed within the Global Fund grant. The guests also got acquainted with the implementation of the Fast Track initiative in Kyiv and the provision of the city with social order.
